In a country of 300+ million, a few thousand people at a few places
celebrating, doesn't really amount to a "national celebration", in my mind.

To me, I think the vast majority of Americans did what probably most of us
did, let out a big sigh, smiled a little bit, maybe reflected or prayed
again for the people who lost their lives on that day 10 years ago....then
we went about our day.

I admit it makes smile to think that, if there is an afterlife, somewhere
right now there is a recently deceased bearded terrorist's soul who is
discovering he really, really fucked up while he was alive :)
