He set up a task force to kill Americans. That right there is enough for me. He was also two weeks away from producing them and very adamant about doing so as soon as the sanctions were lifted. Please do not dishonor those that served and died with nonsense about their lives being wasted. The threat was there and it was real. > I just try to put everything in that perspective....imagine how precious the > life of my son and daughter are...now ask myself: For what would I risk > those lives? And if after 9/11 we chose again to do nothing do you think everything would be just fine? When do you think it's worth risking a life to save lives? Do you think we wasted lives fighting in the world wars also? Just because you don't personally think Saddam wasn't a threat doesn't make it so. I'm not saying you have to believe he was a threat, just don't mock those that do. > If you honestly think that the threat posed by Saddam was worth the lives of > your children (dunno if you have any)...then I guess there's not really much > else we can debate. That's just it, those brave soldiers sacrificed their lives so my daughter and many like her are now safe from his murderous intent. . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:342851 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
