Actually...no he didn't...remember the link to al-Qaida was long since shown to be false and that he was just as much a target of al-Qaida as we were. They didn't like Hussein because he was a secular leader and did not impose Sharia law in Iraq. Baathists and Wahabbists (sp?) are not friendly to each other because of that.
