The middle ground for Canada. Before moving to the US I was a member of the Conservative Party of Canada and was a moderate conservative for Canada. I suspect that given US politics, being a moderate Canadian conservative means being a extreme left wing radical for the US. Heaven help you Sam if you ever really meet a Canadian left wing extremist - probably your head will explode.
