I find the story quite credible in terms of overall perspective. IMHO, the account of what happened in 47-8 is a bit over the top though. Not in terms of intentions, but in terms of numbers. The story of Camp David in 2000 is the same as what has been covered in European newspapers. Only in at least one paper there was a followup story this year where the information was added that the offer was turned down by the Israeli's because they would lose control over certain area's of religious interest. Most notably an area of which a group of Israeli hirstorians now dispute that it is the correct location.
