OK well.....i can't find much as to which way independents are leaning (did
only a cursory search).

I guess I would offer that my own personal experience suggests what you
posted is not true. We are not leaning overwhelmingly towards Romney. But i
guess my friends and I could be the exception to the rule (we usually
aren't).
