I think it is part of the revisionist history that seems to be very
prominent in most "causes" Make the stats and the history lineup with
your narrative regardless of what side you are on. Left and the Right
do it.


On a side note I decided to watch Bowling for Columbine the other day
after not having seen it in 8 years or so. It amazed me that the thing
could have come out last week. It was 11 years ago but everything
seemed like it was pulled right out of yesterdays newspapers!
