true, you should never base your hypothesis on a god.  But to rule out the 
possibility of a god or god-like being would be a mistake too.  

I think you also need to decouple the term god from the "Mystical white robed 
man in the sky" kind of definition.  That's not the kind of god I'm referring 
too.  

All that said, I still haven't found any evidence that's convincing enough for 
me to believe in a god.
