Who was comparing Martin to MLK Jr? I certainly made no such comparison. I could see things happening the way you say. But I think it is just as possible that Zimmerman confronted Martin with his gun drawn. Every one assumes Martin was the aggressor because he wound up on top of Zimmerman, it just as likely Zimmerman was and Martin got the better off him... Initially.
As I have said numerous times, we only know Zimmerman's story because Martin is dead. The fact that Zimmerman did something stupid and some one is dead as a result gives him a VERY compelling reason to lie.
