You are right. I have seen schools that have tall fences and/or metal detectors. They are in pretty shitty neighborhoods with pretty shady students. I was just posing some what ifs.I would not have wanted my daughter attending that kind of school either.
I doubt we are ever going to get rid of guns. And just because you make something illegal does not mean it will just go away. Prohibition, drugs and certain classes of weapons are good examples. So since America will more than likely keep Her guns, and since there are violent people in America, we do have to live with the consequences as you say. So now were back to how can we better protect our children.
