You would have a hard time convincing my siblings that arming teachers is a good idea, since the assistant principal at their high school went ballistic, shot and killed the principal.
That being said, removing or adding guns is not the solution to incidents like this. It's about a failure of the mental health system and fixing that is the only thing that will fix this problem. And failures of the educational system only add to it.
