you really think that the kid wouldn’t have attempted something like this 
because the teacher might be packing, that’s rational Bruce talking, not crazy 
student.  

and you really think the seriousness of the injuries would have been the same 
had he used a gun instead of a knife?

had there been extra guns, the only thing that would have kept the kids any 
safer would have been for them to wear body armor.

We used to have a society where guns were brandished by most people.  It was 
called the wild west.  Was it safer than we are today?

Why not arm all the teachers with tasers? Why is the answer to gun violence 
more guns?  Does the answer have to be lethal?
