Read it again. He did not come out and say that he opposed a Palestinian state. That was a conjecture that was brought from him saying that israel can't relinquish security contrtol of the Jordan Valley (territory west of the River Jordan), his actual quote. This is nothing new and has been said by every Israeli government.
Basically, it's another fluff piece article putting words in his mouth and trying to paint the security control of the Jordan Valley as something new. As a word of advice, any time anyone quotes any official, double check what was an actual quote and what was conjecture. Especially if the article is on Huffington.
