you hit on one of my pet peeves, the lack of common 
courtesy and manners in much of today's society.

Yes, I'm old fashioned.

I hold the door for anyone behind me.
I say "thank you" if someone does it for me.
I don't talk on my cell phone at a restaurant table.
I don't talk out loud in a movie theater.
I make room to let people change lanes (if they signal).

Let's start a new group:

NAAOFWM - National Assn. for Advancement of Old Farts 
With Manners - and hold a parade
