Powerbooks are a really sweet system. it was a tossup between a TiBook
(powerbook G4) and the iBook. Both very nice look cool etc. Networking and
connecting to the web and internet are really easy, its powerful enough to
replace a desktop for graphics intensive work. The new version of Photoshop
is optimized for the G4 and OSX. Its unix based, and can run CFMX.

Even better the educational discounts for Macs are fairly substantial.
Typically about 1/3rd the retail price - or better.
