Well, my intentions were not to bash Christians. I hope you and everyone finds something in the world to believe in and you follow it. But lets not hide (I am not saying you are) the fact that more people are killed for a God than any other reason (not necessarily Christians the Muslims, Catholics and most all have there fair share of slayings).
I was brought up by a "God fearing Christian family" church was a must, Bible School the whole thing. I'm sorry if you find it offensive that someone would point out these things. I don't find it offensive that you disagree with me (that's your God given rite). I find it offensive that when I turn on the TV or open the paper all I see is death and destruction in the name of God. It's appalling and it's nothing new it's been going on since before the Crusades. I guess our children will have to clean up the mess. I told my daughter I was sorry I couldn't leave her a better place but I don't think it will help much. She goes to a Christian School. Second, I respect your right to disbelieve and disagree but not to bash. Just two or three days ago, this list (publicly, at least) was all about protecting the homosexual lifestyle and routing out the bigots. My faith is as important to me as anybody else's lifestyle. Saying that war is all due to the Christian Bible is like saying that poverty is due to the blacks, or that all Muslims are looking to bomb your workspace. I'm not upset, I just want the respect that every other lifestyle seems to enjoy. It seems like bashing Christians for their faith is ok these days.
