I think the major difference is that I knew how the pressure of my dads belt felt on my behind :) The other kids wouldn't do anything compared to what my father would if I screwed up.
That's why the kids today worry about other kids killing them so much. They don't worry about their parents killing them :) I think you need to have a certain amount of fear while growing up. Peer pressure makes guns a fashion accessory? When I was in school peer pressure wasn't that big of a deal. You didn't see people doing poorly in school because it was the cool thing to do. Peer pressure doesn't make a person want to kill another, it goes deeper than that. There is something else that is causing a problem. > -----Original Message----- > From: Adam Reynolds [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, January 06, 2003 10:13 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Tighter? > > The same reason that peer pressure makes boys worse at school than girls. > Its cool not to be clever. > > The problem with guns being a fashion accessory is that it is very easy to > use a gun if it's in your back pocket. > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Nick McClure [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: 06 January 2003 14:42 > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: RE: Tighter? > > > > > > But the question is why are they a fashion accessory? > > > > The problem isn't the guns, the problem is that people choose to kill > > people.
