The numbers don't necessarily suggest that. Given that stable long 
term relationships between people of the same sex are essentially 
illegal in most states, it does encourage risky sexual behavior. In 
San Francisco which has been at the forefront of AIDS efforts, there 
has been a substantial decrease in risky sexual behavior among young 
gay men, and an equivalent increase in stable relationships. 
Unfortunately when the CDC wanted to further research this, they were 
threatened with having any AIDS prevention research monies zeroed out 
by Congress.

Besides how many 15 to 25 year old straights have had multiple 
partners? The point is that its the risky behaviors that kill not the 
sexual orientation.
