Tim, I have to run out the door myself. A couple real quick comments :)
1) I wasn't thinking you were lying about your military experience, just didnt know you well enough to realize you had one. My point was that there are a lot of guys who get their testosterone boost from OTHER guys killing people. War as spectator sport, yanno? So, this is apparently not you and thats a good thing. 2) I believe you on Bush Sr, proabably wasnt reading papers at the time. 3) I am confused about the suicide bomber comments and don't have time to go see what comment of mine you are talking about. Briefly I think it's real wrong to blow up buses with civilians on them. No argument there. My point is that people resort to terrorism generally because they see no option. Overwhelming force thus conceivably leads to more terrorism. Did you see the Washington Post yesterday? I rest my case :) The recent suicide bombing in Iraq would not be terrorism as it is a measure, however underhanded, taken by people of a country against an army that is invading that country. That's a far cry from bombs in the London Underground. 4) Not to needlessly prolong a debate but if you think the whole culture is the enemy why stop at Iraq?
