Having not been here, that long, I don't know what kind of treatment you've
gotten from Macromedia in the past. I don't know the politics of what's
going on between you and MM now. I'm not sure I want to know (but if you
feel like griping, I'll listen).

community-oriented than necessarily company-oriented. Which, to me, begs
the question of whether you are or should be a MM ColdFusion evangelist, a
BD evangelist, or simply an evangelist of CFML generically. Maybe it's time
to broaden your horizons, so to speak. For example, you could try to cut a
deal with New Atlanta such that you can speak favorably about how BD stands
up to MM's server, but at the same time point out that if you need (for
example) 2-way video communication, CFMX with Flashcom is the way to go.
I guess part of me expects that you will find a way to point out the good
and bad in each product you come across, because I see you as a fairly
honest, even handed guy (when you're not using corpses to draft letters). I
guess that makes me want to look for a way you can have your community cake
and eat it, too.
