:) My father sometimes used to send me personal checks. I can tell you that
it takes something like three months for a Paris bank to clear a check
drawn on the bank of Nova Scotia. Or did. This may have improved somewhat
with the advent of computers.

I think you really should put something in in capital letters. Meanwhile...
I suspect the money order will clear the bank in a year or two :) Should
you accept it? I don't think I would...
