I would suggest that the term uninformed might be better then stupid.
Stupid is seeing something bad happen to you more than once and not doing
anything about it.

We put some items on eBay, saying that the products were for the UK
systems, and that people outside of the UK should pay more postage

An American purchased one product and then had to ask if it would work
on his system, and then gave us the UK based postage...

Yes, eBay users are stupid on average :-)
