Reminds me of when I ran a small free ISP based in the UK, the usual thing - no monthly charges just the costs of the phone call. One morning I had a very irate call from an American wondering why there was a charge on his phone bill for several hundred dollars when it was a free service. He had been connecting across the atlantic for weeks and had great difficult in understanding that this was a UK based service.
