That goes to far. What I do on my own time is my business. A smoker who does not smoke in the office has no 'effect' on his fellows and should not be prohibited from doing so outside work time. Maybe they can say no smoking on lunch break due to lingering odor, but that's about it. Oh, I can see a company having problems with a smoker and insurance policies, but that's it.
This is akin to saying "well, we publish Christian books and every employee has to be a Christian and follow all the rules even when not at work". Yes, it's an extreme example, but a valid one. > ...even when the employees are not on company premises. > > http://www.news24.com/News24/Backpage/Offbeat/0,5583,2-1343-1347_1372697,00.html > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
