That's not so far off base. I have heard of a few Christian owned companies that business wise, had nothing to do with relligion but sort of required their employees to be followers of the Bible.

What I do on my own time is my business. A smoker who does not smoke in the office has no 'effect' on his fellows and should not be prohibited from doing so outside work time. Maybe they can say no smoking on lunch break due to lingering odor, but that's about it. Oh, I can see a company having problems with a smoker and insurance policies, but that's it. This is akin to saying "well, we publish Christian books and every employee has to be a Christian and follow all the rules even when not at work". Yes, it's an extreme example, but a valid one. > ...even when the employees are not on company premises. > > http://www.news24.com/News24/Backpage/Offbeat/0,5583,2-1343-1347_1372697 ,00.html > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
