Good question. He said it ran well and had full compression but was a bit banged up. I would be more concerned with the functionality than the looks if I were actually planning to use it, or let my son use it. Looks might matter if I am going to sell it or trade it... Now that I understand that it is a fairly powerful bike I do have concerns with his reflexes... The other issue being that if we keep it, we would need to get a car (or I guess a truck, really) just to use it. We live in central Albuquerque which is good for bus lines and bad for open desert.... though I guess there is that big empty parking lot up the block... ::snicker:: it would probably be better to learn at slower speeds with more room for error though.
