A good cheap primer is PHP and MySQL for Dummies, cheap too. Php.net is
the best place to start, there is a basic tutorial at
http://uk2.php.net/tut.php and a list of examples and tutorials at
http://php.resourceindex.com/Documentation/Examples_and_Tutorials/
