Agreed. When I was in 7th grade, some kid got the snot beat out of him by a few other people. They knocked him into a corner and acted like they were in a steel cage match on WWE. They even slammed a metal garbage can on his head and knocked him out cold.
The school worked very quickly and called the police and worked with them to round up any witnesses. They caught all the guys and for the next 6 or 7 years they had to pay this guys hospital bill. I'm sure sure if jail time was servered since they were only 13 or 14 at the time. This was also on school grounds. I don't know if that's what happened to your friend or not. -----Original Message----- From: BethF [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2003 1:00 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: fights in school The police should be called and assault charges filed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Stanley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2003 5:07 AM Subject: RE: fights in school > Is it too harsh a punishment to have the bully's eye removed and > replaced with marbles? > > > > So, someone I know, a 13 year old, was just beat up at school.
