So, I have more info now and that I'd share. The fight was not 100% one side. The bully first shoved my nephew, then my nephew told him to quit and pushed him back. My nephew turned away, and when he turned back, the bully punched him right in the mouth. Still seems like a pretty tight case.
Oh, and it gets better. My nephew's cousin goes to the same school. A week before the bully threatened him. He reported it to a teacher. Yesterday, the father of my nephew asked the principal about this report... and the principal said he had no idea what they were talking about. They went to the teacher who had taken the report - and the teacher said he thought it was just stupid kid crap and ignore it. Lovely. I wonder if I can home school?
