My Dell CRT 19" is HUAGE! And I mean HUAGE! AND HEAVY! However, why not look to see if you can get a bargain on a 17" flat screen. You might find some for sale somewhere, and the res on them is nice. We have 3 Samsung ones (that even tilt!) and if I remember correctly they were selling for something like $300-350 ... But that was last year, methinks maybe they have come down in price a bit.
