We have tried that in the past and been slammed for it. We end up having millions hate us for acts of kindness.
What other nation in the world spends more on humanitarian programs, what nations sends more people overseas to help the poor, the victims? What have we gotten for it really? No I think that we should act the same way other nations do. If it affects us we help. Otherwise, nothing.
