get an opteron or amd 64 athlon fx but yea the g5 is pretty nice if amd
didnt have such a sweet chip i would get a g5 besides the fact they
overcharge you like a bitch but hay thats ok

Well, yes.  I do.  I mean, I'm a PC guy, but I have total respect for  

the Mac platform with the advent of OS X.  Also, the G5 hardware is  

prety damn sweet.  You get the best integration I've ever seen (though,


admittedly, there are problems associated with tight integration).



I think that whether the Mac is worth the money is not a question of  

hardware or software value, I think it is a question of personal use  

habits.  If you work better on the Mac, its hardware will stand up to  

most PCs.  If you work better on a PC, you can get a box that stands up


well against the Mac.
