It would be tricky, but I've actually done it in the past. There was a thread on
CF-Talk bashing MM which belonged on MM-Talk. I moved it on the back end and no
one really noticed.
Problem is that it involves human control to at least identify threads that have
to move. Maybe I can add in something to make it better/easier in the future,
but....
Actually, with most people getting the lists in HTML format, I can add in a
small buttonbar at the bottom of each post to allow people to rate each thread.
Tweak the archive to show a tiny colored icon before the threads that have been
rated (there's just a plain white icon there now) and it'll help people see
whats the more important threads. Put in a sort for best threads and all and
it'll allow people to get the best info first and avoid thread they don't like.
Oh, the ideas this leads to. :)
