Too true. Too true. I would MUCH rather wait for a polished game.

One of my huge pet peeves with the game industry these days is the release
and patch approach. Especially when the patches actually change gameplay. I
buy a game based on it's gameplay and I really don't appreciate it being
changed after I buy it. Some people say "just don't patch it" but
unfortunately those gameplay changes are included along with bug fix patches
that often actually make it possible to finish a game.
