I hope she had insurance! Anyway without knowing the IP assigned when it is
online, it will be difficult to ping it. The Univ network can do a systemwide
scan, if they were so motivated, but I would not bet the farm on their
willingness to do so. At least get a report on file with Campus security for
records sake.
