And just yesterday on the Hannity Radio Show he talked about how the new thing is for parents to drop their 2-5 year olds off in the public library then go to work or to play tennis or some crap like that.  He said the librarians try to keep the children busy for 8+ hrs with no food and no place to play besides in the libary.

I'm having a hard time believing this.  If I were a librarian, I would have called the police and DSS after 5 minutes if a 2-year old was left without supervision in the library.

She wasn't "waiting around near a car wash".

She was walking home from a friend's house, and cut through the parking lot of the carwash to save distance.

(According to early reports, she followed this route often)

I would hate to have had a childhood where I couldn't walk a mile to a friend's house. Or jump on my bike and ride a couple of miles to the store.

It was these times off on my own (or with a groups of friends) that defined, more than anything else in my life, who and what I am.

It was learning to apply or discard rules I'd been given by parents, teachers, sibling and friends that led me to who I am today.

Well, let's see if the man did it or not.

The bottom line it, whoever would kidnap a little girl is an animal.

You know, the idea of an 11-year old waiting around near a car wash
bothers me a great deal too. I don't understand people who don't cherish
their children and go the extra mile to make sure things like this don't
  happen.

Man, I am gonna have to drive my kids everywhere. I already do, but they
  are
still too young. They are gonna hate me, but I am not giving some sicko
  any
chance with my babies if I can help it. When my 9 year old daughter is
  over
at a freinds house (that we drive her to), I am concerned the whole
  time. I
cannot even imagine the absolute stark horror this girls parents are
  going
through right now. How do they even function?

I know innocent until proven guilty, but this guy is garbage.....

Even if they find her alive(doubtful), he should still fry.....
