Actually it really depends on where you go in the state. There are some
places that are nice - the people at least that is. But is it pretty flat
and desolate, especially this time of year.

I never understood how, with a world so large, three major, contentious
religions would have their holy lands in exactly the same spot. I've
suggested time and time again we rename North Dakota "Palestine" or
"Israel" (we'll flip a coin to see who moves) and everyone moves there.
It's bigger, isolated, has lots of scenic vistas, and it's not like
we're using it anyway.
