Well, there's biblical Hebrew which is the language of the Torah and
writings and then there's 'modern' Hebrew which is the language used as a
'common' language in Israel. I dislike modern Hebrew because it throws out
certain sounds from Hebrew. My complaint about altering words to fit a
modern context is really a moot point as any spoken language has to do that.
It just has to be remembered that modern Hebrew can NOT be effectively or
efficiently applied to Torah study. Anyone who says they know Hebrew might
think that they can, but....
