as you do. A fight is a fight and the winner gets to write the history. (But
when I fight, I'm fighting the person who's attacking me, not their wife and
kids. )
Problem is, I also think in the large scale and we as humans have tried to
move into some form of civilized combat. combat is between combatants, not
civilians. Blowing up a bus full of school kids is not part of that
'civilized' war. I have to support some limit on what can happen in war
because if I don't, we're just another step down to the brutal end that may
be coming.
I'm pushing my personal aside for the 'greater good'. If I didn't, I'd
really be advocating the destruction of entire Arab towns every time there's
a terrorist attack. I'd advocate butchering 100 people for every Jew killed.
I'm not because I do believe that there is a limit and if I hold by it then
maybe those who hate me will rise above their barbarity and hold by it as
well.
I'd like to think that I and humanity are above such brutality. Really
