Also, I think it depends on the fight. If it's a scuffle, and we're just
testing each other, then yes. If it is all out war, and my side is in the
percieved wrong of the enemy, which it most likely will be, then I'm not so
sure I want the kids of my enemy around to grow up and hate my side. Do I?

Agreed. But I think this is taken in the context of the actual war going on.

I see your point. I'm not so sure that our fall off of that short ladder is

You certainly are, but humanity as a whole is certainly not. Sadly, I dont
see this ever happening, unless the Grongians attack the entire earth, and
the people can unite. Otherwise we will continue to visit the mistakes of
our fathers upon our own sons.
