Well so far ours we are able to keep under 6k so I guess I am doing well.
The wedding dress and maid of honor dress was not expensive as I knew it
could be. Luckily between the two dresses, it was about a total $700.

However the rings of course are about almost 7k in total just rings alone.
Her engagement ring was almost 5k. While my ring is only $600.

Now the rings added with the wedding costs, then yes, I am pushing
about $13k for everything.

That is wedding, flowers, reception with buffet. so we cut
corners where we could. Also the cost of invitations and stuff was
part of the cost.

Now we are budgeting for a decent gift for both the Maid of honor and
the best man.

I hear ya!

We are going very simple... I was commenting more on the cost of everything
that could be involved! We would much rather have a fabulous honeymoon and
maybe a down payment on a house before we every spent 35K on a wedding! I
almost fell over this weekend!
