When planning our wedding, we were both flabbergasted at the prices we
would have to pay. This was almost 11 years ago. We decided to have a
no-frills wedding. Only our immediate families came. The big money was spent
on the honeymoon. We lived in Florida at the time, so we spent a week in Key
West. I am so glad we did what we did. The whole thing still cost us less
than a thousand dollars, but it was worth it.

WOW. I spent all weekend with my fiancé making wedding plans and booking the
reception and Church, etc.. Weddings cost a fortune these days. We are
footing the bill for everything ourselves and I am just amazed at the cost
of the entire event!
