Ontario treats the rest of Canada like its own colonies. Which is almost
expected, given that Ontario is the largest province in Canada. Part of the
problem is power sharing. The other provinces want more say in the federal
government, but Ontario has vetoed each and every attempt. The province of
course does not want to surrender one iota of power. The most recent
proposed change was to restructure the Senate from a politician's retirement
home to a triple E status - Equal representation, Elected and Effective.
