Sounds like (CF5 on RedHat goes away for 15 minutes but doesn't crash) a
problem we had recently.  It is caused by registry bloat.  (Check the size
of the files in the registry diretory of your CF installation, usually
/opt/coldfusion.)  The fix is described in Tech Note 22730
