Again, you can't (in Apache's case) state that 1.3.x is 'earlier' versions of Apache 2. They're two different breeds of code and unfortunately, Apache group is maintaining both versions of this code. I know that the release note reads that way, but it's not true based on the history of all this and I've been following it before cfmx was even released to the public.
If you have Apache 1.3.27+, you're still supported. If you fall on the earlier versions of Apache 2 (for example, Apache 2.0.39) you're not supported due to connector / magic number reasons. If you're using Apache 2.0.43+, then you're back into the supported bracket again. I know it's silly. I know it's not clear. Nothing I can do about it, but trust me when I say that Apache 1.3.x for the time being is still supported. ~Todd At 09:37 AM 3/25/2003 +0000, you wrote: >Todd, >I may have got the release number wrong, but the release notes explicitly >state it won't work with 2.0.42 and 'earlier'. 1.3.x is earlier. > >Should it work with 1.3.x for you fine, but you won't get support from >Macromedia for any issues you may have as you are running it on an >unsupported version of Apache (in their eyes). > >Adam > ---------- Todd Rafferty ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) - http://www.web-rat.com/ Team Macromedia Volunteer for ColdFusion http://www.macromedia.com/support/forums/team_macromedia/ http://www.devmx.com/ ---------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=14 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=14 Your ad could be here.
