Again, you can't (in Apache's case) state that 1.3.x is 'earlier' versions 
of Apache 2.  They're two different breeds of code and unfortunately, 
Apache group is maintaining both versions of this code.  I know that the 
release note reads that way, but it's not true based on the history of all 
this and I've been following it before cfmx was even released to the public.

If you have Apache 1.3.27+, you're still supported.

If you fall on the earlier versions of Apache 2 (for example, Apache 
2.0.39) you're not supported due to connector / magic number reasons.  If 
you're using Apache 2.0.43+, then you're back into the supported bracket again.

I know it's silly.  I know it's not clear.  Nothing I can do about it, but 
trust me when I say that Apache 1.3.x for the time being is still supported.
