As for getting CFMX to talk to *any* database, this is a matter of finding a
jdbc driver to suit the rdbms in question and mapping to it from the cfmx
administration site in much the same way as described in the link above.

Any idea how I would connect to a Progress database running on SCO with
ColdFusionMX running on a separate Linux box?
The Progress specific database aside, how does one configure CFMX to talk
to *any* database other than the ones it ships with drivers for?
