For CFMX, you'll need JDBC drivers. I haven't made the move to MX yet, and didn't read your message (or the reply) closely enough.

Doesn't it have to be a JDBC driver?  This is where I get confused.  I already have an ODBC driver.  I am already connecting to Progress with Perl on the Linux box that is running CFMX.

So can I take my driver (/usr/local/lib/oplodbc.so.1), and copy it to somewhere in the /opt/coldfusionmx directory structure and then this new database type will show up in the CF Administrator?
