If you want to stay in the Red Hat land there are 2 paths:
 - centos os or white box linux which are recompiled versions of redhat
enterprise linux minus variuos red hat items (logos, artwork, along these
lines).
 - fedora core (currently at version 4), which is Red Hat testing ground for
their enterprise linux releases (new technology is released and tested first
in Fedora and then incorporated into Red Hat enterprise linux). This means
that it's more unstable then the enterprise version and also have a much
shorter life span per version.

Fedora Core provides an upgrade option when installing the system so you can
upgrade without reinstalling. I don't know about centos or white box. Given
that you have RH 7.2 on that box I think you can isntall centos and have the
benefits of the RH Enterprise Linux: longer support and a more stable
platform.

Hope that helps.
