but do they run within the current request, i.e. would a Request variable 
set in the script where an error was encountered further along the 
processing be available to the CFML error template which is executed by IIS 
when it receives a 500. I'm assuming not.

BTW, warning, I am almost asleep at this stage and probably not thinking 
properly.
