Hmm... well, I guess this is now OT, but it should work fine with WSP.  Have you tried 
an admin acct?  The account the service runs under needs access to all the WebSite 
directories including logging, plus registry access to WSP's keys.  Have you gotten 
other services, like CF, to run under another acct?  The user you specify needs to 
have some other access permissions defined in User Manager/Policies/User Rights/Show 
Advanced (log on as service is one, and there might be another--I forget).  Usually 
you are prompted to add these permissions when you first specify a new account for a 
service, but it's worth a check.  

Keep playing with it-- definitely can be done.  It can be a real pain if the system is 
locked down heavily with ACLs.  Good luck!
